Blog introduction
In this blog we keep you posted on our experiences, what the symptoms are and how we deal with them as a family.
Joost describes what he is going through as cancer patient, still trying to keep his role as husband and father of two.
Jennifer’s entries are from the care-giver’s perspective. Running the household and raising the kids does not leave her much time to write though.
From the very beginning we were supported by our friend Paul who kept everyone updated on the medical status. He communicated directly with the doctors, gathered all well-meant advices from friends and did the necessary internet research. By reading his entries you might think he is a doctor himself.
Reactions to the blog-entries are always appreciated and could even stimulate a healthy discussion on these difficult topics.
